In 2006, I was medically retired from the USAF due to a diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) from Military Sexual Trauma (MST).
This blog is about my journey as I reclaim my identity and overcome the challenges associated with PTSD.
When I was first diagnosed with PTSD, I felt alone and didn’t know where to turn for help. I am sharing my story in the hope that it provides encouragement to another person.
“I run because I can. When I get tired, I remember those who can’t run, what they’d give to have this simple gift I take for granted, and I run harder for them. I know they would do the same for me.” ~Unknown
